You will discover broken things like switches or wires, and various maintenance required. To keep track of these you can use little cards printed on red paper that you tie around the problem so that you can record what the problem is and visually see where the problem item is when you come back to fix it. This is a good way to visually identify all the maintenance required so that it is not forgotten.
